Program Overview

The Armstrong School District Office of Human Resources supports administrative, professional, and support staff across the district. The department is responsible for key functions including recruitment, selection, and hiring of personnel; compensation and benefits administration; contract negotiations and labor relations; compliance with federal and state laws; policy and administrative guideline development; personnel records management; employee evaluation and discipline; budget development; and coordination of professional development programs.

The Office of Human Resources is committed to excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery to more than 650 district employees. The department maintains a customer-focused approach and is dedicated to enhancing the quality and efficiency of its services.
