Armstrong School District Attendance Policy has been updated for the 2019/2020 school year. An Excessive Absence Letter will now be sent home once a student accumulates five (5) excused or unexcused days. A Physician’s Verification of Illness Letter will be sent to the parents or guardian when a student accumulates ten (10) days of absence due to excused or unexcused reasons, other than extensive periods of hospitalization or doctor verified illness. Following this letter, a doctor’s excuse is required for any further absences. *Missing a few days each month can add up quick so it’s important to work with the school early on to help keep your child attending regularly.
