Armstrong High School to Hold Event for Preparing for College
 
KITTANNING:  The Armstrong Jr/Sr High School will be opening its doors to all students and families from any school district on the evening of Thursday, February 16, 2017 for an event that will help in the planning and paying phases of a college education.

Representatives from over 45 schools, special programs, employers, and branches of the Armed Services will attend. Additionally, special programs will be offered on the topics of early awareness of financial aid (for families in elementary through Grade 10), a FAFSA completion workshop, dual enrollment information, credit transfer options, and more. 

Additionally, there will be several workshops taking place during the event, which is scheduled to take place from 5-8 PM.  These include workshops on Financial Aid, Admissions, Preparing for Your Childs Future (for parents of students of all ages), Financial Aid Q&A, and a FAFSA Completion Workshop.
